If you only have an hour to exercise why not make it the most efficient and productive hour you have ever spent.  Whether you are a professional athlete or have never exercised before, Paul Plakas has trained every level of fitness over an 18 year career.  Through a comprehensive physical assessment and selection of the correct exercises for your physical ability your body will have no choice but to change.  Watch your body fat drop, your muscular endurance and cardiovascular fitness increase and every joint working properly.  Paul will match the exercises in your workout to improve your body’s performance in whatever environment you wish.

Paul can be seen Mondays on CTV Noon News presenting on a variety of fitness and nutrition topics.  In 2007 Paul finished filming 13 episodes of the second season of the weight loss show X-Weighted.  It can be seen regularly on the Slice Network multiple times per week.  The popularity of the show has allowed for the start of filming season three, which will be released in the spring of 2008. 

Paul received his degree from the University of Alberta in Physical Education.  He certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Instructor and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  He continually educates himself by keeping up to date on new research by the experts in the field of weight loss and body mechanics and by being a presenter himself.  Paul instructs for the AFLCA to students wanting to learn personal training and strength training.  Paul has performed hundreds of presentations to organizations such as; University Hospital doctors and nurses, Heart Association, and various companies through out Edmonton.  For those that can not make it to Edmonton for a one on one training session with Paul they can purchase his exercise video “The i3 Workout System” where they can try some of the movements he uses to train his clients.

For his own physical fitness Paul is a cross trainer.  He enjoys all sports especially bike racing, weight lifting, ice and ball hockey.
